Model Portfolios Overview

This page show shows holdings and returns of 3 theoretical investment portfolios. Model portfolios include the New Portfolio (NewPort), the Trader's Portfolio and the Investor's Portfolio.

Stock picks and investment model portfolios' total returns are compared to the S&P and DJIA.

These model portfolios were made using techniques and principles of Portfolio Management. The portfolios allow you to track and compare performance to the S&P Index (Standard & Poors), the Dow Jones Industrial Average or any mutual fund.

The first table was begun on January 5, 2009 and tracks the returns of the New Portfolio from November 7, 2008. It also tracks the returns of the Trader's and Investor's Portfolios from November 7, 2008.

Transactions do not account for brokerage fees.
